Accreditation F.A.Q's

Accreditation Process F.A.Q.'s

Q - Do I have to be classified as a business entity to become an accredited member of tcf?

A - No, with the fed ein and a tx issued st taxpayer number you can join tcf as an independent contractor. Remember as an independent contractor you are responsible for reporting your taxes to the IRS yourself.

Q - Is there a minimum amount of time that I have been conducting business to be eligible to apply for TCF accreditation?

A - The amount of time that a contractor or company has been conducting business may serve to the benefit of the prospective TCF Accredited membership entity, it is not a prerequisite.

Q - What is an "internal reference," and how does the internal reference affect the TCF application process?

A - An "internal reference" is not only a professional or corporate reference but also a voice of commendation from within the TCF Accredited Membership. To have an internal reference is beneficial because it can help gauge an entity's eligibility for TCF Accreditation. Though having an internal reference can help with the prospective entity's accreditation process, it does not guarantee TCF accreditation.
